Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival was this past weekend. We went on Saturday and spent the day in and out of all the barns chatting with all the vendors and admiring all the wonderful fiber arts. We met up with some from our group and all walked around together. It made it less painful for the husbands. They are really patient with us girls, I must say. Of course as usual we had a lot of laughs with one another! We ended the day all eating at our favorite place, then headed home. I was inspired to return home and get into needle felting. Our"girls day gathering" started it, and Rhinebeck just finished it for me! I returned home that night and started needle felting ( a little OCD) I was up until 1:30 in the am and then I dreamed of needle felting! What can I say? So Saturday night and Sunday which was a very rainy cold day I spent the day needle felting. The outcome was two wool stuffed pillows, pumpkins and sheep! I'm doing one of each of my sheep in their own wool. I will have my flock for ever! All it takes for me is an afternoon with the girls and a day at a sheep and wool fest. to light my fire! So, for now Im the "Needle Felting Queen".
