- Im a spinner and a shepherdess . We raise our own fiber animals so that I may spin the gorgeous fiber into fun, whimsical creative art yarns with a different twist to them all. I enjoy what I do and it is how I make my living. I am in charge of all the animal husbandry. Once a year the sheep are shorn by a sheep shearer Then I hand process the fleeces myself, preparing them for spinning and dyeing.
